Hello to all!

We are on our way to Italy to get more oils and vinegars for the remainder of this year and the 2026 season in the farmers markets. I plan to visit the farms in Calabria and get more of that rich Calabrian oil we all love so much. I will also look at some oil from the Lazio near Roma and some from Basilicata, in two areas known for their great oils and wonderful Italian pride of their olive trees.

We regret the problems that the smaller local farmers have negotiating the problems of tariffs, shipping, and climate change, and all the trouble and higher prices they bring, but they seem to be able to get through them with a smile and a good glass of wine!

I hope to see you all at the end of November in the Barn at Mount Hope Farmers Market and the Christmas events (that we will post when scheduled).

We will ship while away because Maryann volunteers to maintain the shipping. You can call or email or text us to set up home, local deliveries, and the website will ship what we have.

New! Calabrian Cedro EVOO

We are very excited about this new agrumato flavoring with cedro! A cedro (pronounced CHEH-droh) is a citrus fruit, known in English as a citron. It looks like a large lemon from the outside, with a bumpier surface. Inside it's much different — mostly white rind. It's sort of a lemon and sort of a lime. A very refreshing taste, and a favorite of Calabrians who grow lots of them in the Pollino National Park area.

Also new! Calabrian Pepperoncino EVOO. Chili peppers are the favorite spice of Southern Italians. This oil is pressed with Calabrian grown peppers to give us a delightfully spicy oil.
